Warlock

Overview

Warlocks are masters of curses, damage-over-time spells and demonic pets. They drain enemies, fear them, tap their own health into mana, and summon demons for damage and utility. They provide the raid with Healthstones, Soulstones and summoning. Cloth-wearing, but deceptively tanky through pets and drains.

Stacks Corruption, Curse of Agony and Siphon Life; Nightfall procs instant Shadow Bolts.

DemonologyPet / Survival

Beefs up demons and your own survivability (Soul Link, Master Demonologist, Demonic Sacrifice).

DestructionDirect DPS

Shadow Bolt and fire damage with Ruin, Conflagrate and Shadowburn. The common raid build (SM/Ruin).

Shadow BoltPrimary direct-damage nuke.

Corruption / Curse of Agony / ImmolateCore damage-over-time spells.

CursesElements, Recklessness, Tongues, Weakness and more for damage or debuffs.

Tips for Warlocks

• Level with a Voidwalker tanking while you drain for near-deathless grinding.
• Keep a stock of Soul Shards for summons, Healthstones and Soulstones.
• Drain-tank: let the Voidwalker hold aggro while you Drain Life.
• Fear + DoT kiting is your PvP bread and butter.
